Three former Minneapolis police officers have now been charged over the death of George Floyd, the black American that was recently killed.
Also, Derek Chauvin, a former officer who had already been charged with third-degree murder in the case, will now be charged with second-degree murder.
This was disclosed by Sen. Amy Klobuchar in a tweet on Wednesday, June 3.
According to CNN, they are charged with aiding and abetting second-degree murder and aiding and abetting second-degree manslaughter.
The three other ex-police officers have been identified as Tou Thao, J. Alexander Kueng and Thomas Lane.
