Liverpool players are now set to receive big bonus should they win the 2019/20 Premier League title in which Jurgen Klopp’s men have been tipped to be crowned champions.
This season, Liverpool have been superb in the Premier League and they remain the only club yet to be defeated after 25 games played drawing only one game.
They were also on the verge of winning the English topflight last season before losing the title to Manchester City on the last day of the season.
And should they go on to lift this season’s Premier League title, then Liverpool players will all share £4 million as their first bonus for bringing the crown to Anfield.
However, sharing formula will have to do with the number of appearances each player get this season in the Premier League.
The likes of Virgil Van Dijk, Sadio Mane, Henderson, Alisson and Mohamed Salah are expected to get the highest money based on the fact that they are always in every game.
Jurgen Klopp and his coaching crew will also receive big bonuses at the end of the season if they become victorious.
When Liverpool defeated Tottenham last season in the Champions League final, the players shared £7 million among themselves.
But this term, they may not retain their Champions League crown considering their performance so far in Europe which cannot be compared with that of England.
