Apple unveiled the new Apple Watch Series 7 at its latest launch event last month, and the device is now almost ready for purchase.
Pre-orders for the new smartwatch, due out on October 15th, opened just a day earlier on October 8th.
On the plus side, it has a larger display and full QWERTY keyboard, as well as improved dust and water resistance. Charging is also 33 percent faster.
While there are only two new colors available for the aluminium Apple Watch Series 7, the names for these hues are mysterious: “Starlight” and “Midnight.”
What color is the word ‘Starlight’ supposed to mean?
New color options for the Apple Watch Series 7 include “Starlight,” a warm champagne hue.
Apple’s new ‘Starlight’ color is a mix of silver and rose gold, replacing the standard ‘Silver.’
‘Starlight’ watch bands are a creamy off-white that looks great with the silver metal.
‘Midnight’ has also been introduced by Apple.
The deep navy-blue ‘Midnight’ replaces the well-known ‘Space Grey’ as the second new aluminum Apple Watch Series 7 color.
It has a slight blue tint, similar to Apple’s ‘Space Grey.’ Despite the fact that it appears black at first glance, a comparison with the ‘Space Grey’ Apple Watch shows it to be a much bluer color.
The ‘Midnight’ strap has a similar dark blue hue to the aluminum case, and it looks great with it.
How many different shades of gray are there?
Additionally, Apple has added three new aluminum colors to the iPhone lineup, but these ones don’t have as interesting names as “Starlight” and “Midnight” do.
Dark green and deep red have been replaced by a lighter shade of blue.
Additionally, stainless steel comes in three colors: silver, graphite, and gold.
The company’s partnerships with Nike and Hermes have also continued.
Brand new bands from Hermes include the “Circuit H” and “Gourmette Double Tour” styles, while the “Sport Loop” and “Sport Band” from Nike are completely redesigned.
Starts at £379. Preorders are available here on the Apple website.
