Mohammed, speaking during a media chat on Saturday, May 31 to mark his first year in office, accused former governors of apportioning 10 times the proper amount for travels, especially trips to Abuja.

“Just to go to Abuja, they spent N50m. It is there on record. My protocol takes take N3m to N5m to go with me. If you take N50m times four, that is N200m. You can’t do any project,” he said.

Governor Mohammed assured residents of Bauchi that his own administration would perform better even though the current outbreak of coronavirus is causing heavy losses.
