Nnamdi Kanu is dead? Is the issue in many’s lips like “Igbos in Nigeria” mourning the IPOB chief.
Later Naija News had claimed a controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo said the leader of the Biafra Indigenous People (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu is dead.
This online news source understands that on the micro-blogging site, Twitter last week, the news of Nnamdi Kanu’s death first appeared when Miss Olunloyo tweeted that the IPOB leader was dead and had been cremated in Italy.
However, a day after the post, Olunloyo again took to Twitter to retract her statement, saying she learned from Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Nigerian minister who is the ally of Nnamdi Kanu, that the IPOB leader is hale and hearty and not dead as she reported earlier.
Earlier, Naija News announced that Kanu broadcast live on Radio Biafra on Sunday, accusing people in Aso Rock and Chinese doctors of being responsible for the deaths in Kano State, Northern Nigeria.
Reacting to the live broadcast, Olunloyo insisted that Nnamdi Kanu is dead and that person who spoke as the IPOB leader during Sunday’s live broadcast on Radio Biafra was “physically doing his voice over in Nigeria”
With the news that Nnamdi Kanu’s death is gaining traction, a group known as Igbos in Nigeria Movement (INM), has released a statement condoling Nnamdi Kanu’s family and friends over the suspected IPOB leader’s demise.
