Who is Bobby Brown married to?
Bobby is currently married to Alicia Etheredge. The pair have been friends since they were teenagers. “We met many years ago, many years ago,” he said in an interview. “I believe I was about 18, and we were at a dance place, where people just go and work out their new moves … I met her there, and we became friends. We all hung out.”
In fact, Alicia was even present at Bobby and Whitney’s wedding. She went on to become Bobby’s manager in 2008. The pair managed to keep their professional and personal life separate. Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston
Whitney and Bobby’s relationship was the talk of the town. The pair got together when they were at the high points of their career. Their friendship soon turned into a relationship. However, Whitney turned down Bobby’s first marriage proposal.
She felt it was not the right time. The pair did get married eventually and had a daughter together. However, their relationship soon hit a downfall when several media outlets alleged Whitney had been cheating. In 2008, Bobby reflected on his marriage with Whitney in his memoir.
He wrote, ” I think we got married for all the wrong reasons. Now I realize Whitney had a different agenda than I did. I believe her agenda was to clean up her image, while mine was to be loved and have children. The media was accusing her of having a bisexual relationship with her assistant. In Whitney’s situation, the only solution was to get married and have kids. That would kill all speculation, whether it was true or not.”
