BREAKING: Boko Haram killed 7 army officers in Borno state

Former military chief announces spot Nigeria next will take place

Tragedy struck in Borno state on Tuesday, January 21 as Boko Haram terrorists reportedly killed an Army officer and seven soldiers during a battle with the insurgents in Mainok, near Maiduguri the Borno state capital.

The Nation reports that the ugly incident also left some soldiers injured and two others missing.

However, Wothappen gathers  that the Nigerian soldiers also neutralised some of the insurgents while many of them also sustained injuries.

A source cited by the newspaper added that the bodies of the slain soldiers have been taken to an undisclosed medical facility.
