The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 239 new cases of the novel coronavirus in Nigeria on Sunday, May 10.
The new cases are one of the highest to be reported in weekend by the government agency.
This was disclosed by the agency in a tweet According to the report, Lagos state has the highest infections with 97 cases while Bauchi followed with 44 infections.
Kano came third with 29 infections and followed by Katsina state which has 19 cases.
Borno has 17 while FCT, Abuja has 7. Kwara recorded 6 cases while Oyo state has 5 with Kaduna having 3 cases.
Sokoto recorded 3 cases while Adamawa state has 2 with Ogun and Ekiti having 2, 1 cases respectively
