“I just got to a point where I’d like to lose some weight, so I’ve been working on it,” he tells Taste of Country. “I’m not at the point where I’d ideally like to be yet, but I’m down to about 260 now from 315.” “I’m still big and sexy, but I’m working on it,” he adds.

“They can get out of control, which is fun for me,” he says of festivals. “You get out on the campgrounds and there are all kinds of stuff going on. But it’s also a chance to play with multiple artists that you don’t get to see.”
