Following the rape allegations levelled on the senior pastor of Commonwealth of Zion COZA, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, the victim Busola Dakolo has demanded that the pastor should pay her a sum of N10million naira and tender an apology for allegedly raping her during her teenage years.
According to Court Papers, obtained by Channels Television, Mrs Dakolo in a writ filed by Pelumi Olajengbesi and Co of Law corridor, her lawyer, she demands that Pastor Fatoyinbo, should pen a clearly worded apology on the front page of at least two national newspapers and national television stations for a period of seven days which are to run consecutively.
She further demanded that Mr Fatoyinbo address a ‘personal apology letter’ which will show honest remorse for his misdeed.
However, in the suit, Mrs Dakolo disclosed to a High Court sitting in Abuja that the defilement by Pastor Fatoyinbo, has affected her marital sex life adversely.
According to her suit, Mrs Dakolo explained that Pastor Fatoyinbo had “forcefully pushed her unto a couch close to the front door of her house, pinned her to the couch, undressed her, caressed her body, fondled her breasts, exposed his genitals to her glare, forcing a bottle of soda (Krest) down her throat thereby making her breathing difficult.”
Further more, She alleged that while he was covering her mouth to subdue her screams, he threatened her life on the 23rd of September, 2002.
According to her, these actions “both jointly and/or severally are outrageous and reckless and have caused her emotional distress” amounting to intentional infliction of emotional distress on her.
