The highlife reality show is a channel 4 initiative aimed at following the lives of ambitious and glamorous young British West Africans who have big ideas on how to become successful.
The show will is supposed to emphasize the extent to which family expectations affect the career choices and relationships of young people. It will be a four-way aspirational reality documentary that will portray an authentic millennial British life.
“This four-part series represents an exciting opportunity to portray young Black Britain without a gun or gang in sight. Glossy, ambitious, and unapologetic, just like it’s cast, this confident new series will look different both in front of and behind the camera whilst still reflecting the highs and lows of life in a way we can all relate to,” explained Vivienne Molokwu the commissioner of the show.
The show is said to air on the 10th of September 2021 at 10 p.m. it will feature big names like Kiddwaya, Kamille, Toni Tone, and Dj Cuppy among others.
