Federal Government now dancing to the tune of ASUU.

The Negotiation between the Federal Government and ASUU today yielded very good results.

The Federal government has agreed to use the old platform before IPPIS, to pay all withheld salaries. UTAS is still undergoing usability test.

On revitalization, the federal government offered N15billion in addition to the N20billion pledged earlier.

ASUU would now confer with its council and then get back to the federal government in a short while, to make their last intention known; if the strike will be halted or not.

The reported exclusion of ASUU from IPPIS and the provision of N65Billion, it is very commendable. It’s the triumph of resilience and dialogue as an uncompromising supporter of ASUU, I wish the academics to consider this & restore their services.

It is good news for the students and parents, the strike has last more than usual, it is 8 months now, many students has give up on resumption for this year but the outcome of the meeting will give them new hope
