Former BBNaija housemate, Laycon, has started his weekend with some great news as his reality TV series, ‘I AM LAYCON’ has broken the records as the most-streamed movie on showmax.

The reality show talks about the life of Laycon, his family and crew members. The show is also centred on his journey as a mere housemate to a star in the Nigerian entertainment industry and beyond.

Laycon’s series began showing on Showmax on February 10, 2021, and in less than ten it started, it has set the record as the most-streamed Nigerian reality show on the streaming site.

Speaking on Laycon’s record, the PRO of Showmax, Onna Okafor said I AM LAYCON is Showmax’s first Nigerian original shot, which has the highest premiere number of views for any show on the streaming site and also surpasses BBNaija reality show.

The ‘I AM LAYCON’ show is also streamed in about 26 countries across the world.
