Billionaire heiress, DJ Cuppy has opened about her philanthropism in a new interview as she reveals how she feeds about 70,000 children on a daily basis in Borno State.
The Nigerian professional DJ and singer made this revelation during an interview with TVC while speaking on her appointment by the Lagos State Government as one of the ambassadors of the Lagos SDGs Youth Alliance network.
Speaking one of the works done by Cuppy Foundation, she said;
“This project is about asking young people what our struggles are. Youth will also be able to give feedback on how they think the government is doing and how they can improve.
“As we all know that young people are tomorrow’s leaders. I want to use this platform to encourage young people that education is great and knowledge is power.”
The Lagos State Office of Sustainable Development Goals and Investment recently appointed DJ Cuppy as an ambassador as part of its commitment towards mobilising opportunities to advance and scale up innovative solutions in the attainment of SDGs across the state.
DJ Cuppy was also in the news recently when she took to her official Twitter page wondering what would be the reaction of people in the events that she drops down dead abruptly.
She was curious to know if people will be sad and what she will be remembered for.
On stressful days like today… I wonder what would happen if I burnt myself out and suddenly dropped dead
Would anyone care? Would people be sad? Would critics wish they had been kinder? Was it worth it? Any regrets? What would Cuppy be known for “What is my CURRENT legacy?”
