A young lady comes to social media to brag about allegedly saving N5.3 million over a ten-month period.

According to @Geerexxx, a Twitter user who plans to ‘dirty December’ with the money she claims to have accumulated this year in her savings box.

Other users of the microblogging network, however, claim that the amount claimed to have been saved is false based on the amount of cash revealed.

“5.3M? How are you doing? I’ll agree if it’s in dollars, pounds, or euros, but abi no be naira notes? In response, a user wrote, “Or na my eye dey ache me.”

In other news, the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has warned that when the subsidy scheme for petroleum products expires in February 2022, fuel might cost N340 per liter.

The NNPC chairman addressed this during the World Bank’s Nigeria Development Update, November 2021 edition, titled “Time for Business Unusual,” on Tuesday, November 23.

“There will be no legal provision for it in our system,” he said. “However, I am confident you will recognize that government has a greater social responsibility to cater to the ordinary and thus engage in a process that will ensure that we exit in the most subtle and easy manner.”

According to Kyari, fuel subsidy elimination would take place in 2022 because it was now solidly guaranteed by legislation, and the price of the commodity may range between N320 and N340 per litre.

He explained that the rise in cooking gas prices was due to a demand and supply issue, as there was a global gas supply bottleneck in December, and several countries were running out of supplies.

In just ten months, Lady Flaunts accumulated N5.3 million in savings.

However, he did remark that the company was striving to enhance local production to meet demand.
