American NASCAR driver Ty Gibbs won his first Xfinity Series race in February 2021; let’s get to know the race car driver’s father, age, IG and the rest of the family.

Who is Ty Gibbs?
Ty Gibbs is an 18-year-old NASCAR racing driver. He won his first ever Xfinity Series race on February 20th, 2021 at Daytona International Speedway.
Ty was born on October 4th, 2002 and has three siblings.
He’s been NASCAR racing since 2017 where he competed in the CARS Late Model Stock series.
Ty Gibbs: Father and family
Ty clearly has racing in his blood as both his father, Coy Gibbs, was also a NASCAR driver.
Coy is 48 years old and during his NASCARXfinity Series career placed in the top 10 twice. During his NASCARCamping World Truck Seriescareer, Coy placed in the top 10 21 times.
He has a wife named Heather and four children including Ty. His other children are called Elle, Case, and Jett as per his Instagram bio. Coy is the owner of Joe Gibbs Racing Motocross Team and he often posts photos of his family and racing life to IG.
Ty’s mum, Heather, is a Realtor at Dickens Mitchener Residential Real Estate according to LinkedIn.
Ty Gibbs’ grandfather, Joe, created his NASCAR team, Joe Gibbs Racing, in 1992. His team has won many NASCAR Cup Series championships. Ty drives a number 18 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing.
