However, more recently she’s become an internet meme queen. The 27-year-old is part of a number of viral memes, but they can be pretty difficult to understand.

The ‘Metra Train’ and ‘Baby this is Keke Palmer’ meme explained
As you’ve been scrolling through Twitter, you might have seen a lot of people making a joke about Keke Palmer and a rail system in Chicago called the Metra Train, and you’re probably very confused.
It all started back in late 2020 when someone on Twitter posted an old photo of Keke Palmer with the caption: “All the girls who looked like this in high-school could suck some mean d*ck.”
Then, another Twitter user responded to the photo and asked them to take it down, claiming that the person in the photo was their sister who got killed in a train crash.
“Excuse me ma’am, not to be disrespectful or rude but could you please take post down. That’s my sister who was killed by a metra train. And it this post is very disrespectful. Idk who you are or if you even know her but I need you to take this down please,” they wrote.
However, the photo wasn’t of the girl’s sister at all, it was of Keke Palmer. So, the Twitter user responded to the false train claims by writing “Baby, this is Keke Palmer.”
Social media users found the whole conversation totally hilarious, and it’s now become a well known internet meme.
Keke Palmer responds to the meme on Twitter
The meme in now internet famous, and people often randomly comment the Metra Train quote and “baby, this is Keke Palmer” on social media for no reason at all.
Now, it’s has been brought to the spotlight yet again after Keke herself reacted to do it on Twitter last month.
In a video, she added the person’s message about the Metra Train and said the iconic line: “Baby, this is Keke Palmer. This is motherf***ing Keke Palmer.”
‘Sorry to this man’ is another Keke Palmer meme
The ‘Metra Train’ meme isn’t the only joke surround Keke Palmer on the internet, and you might have also seen people saying the phrase ‘sorry to this man’ on Twitter.
Back in September 2019, Keke did a lie detector test with Vanity Fair and revealed that she didn’t know who former US Vice President Dick Cheney was.
Then, she said: “I hate to say it, I hope I don’t sound ridiculous, I don’t know who this man is. I mean, he could be walking down the street, and I wouldn’t know a thing. Sorry to this man.”
