For some people, the end of 2021 seems like a long time away.
As the second year of Covid-19 dominance in the world comes to an end, we couldn’t be happier.
Without a doubt, 2021 has had its high times, but we long for the day when the pandemic is a distant memory. What year will that be? Anything’s unlikely, but we can’t rule it out.
Covid restrictions meant that many people spent the most of the year at home, and social media grew as a result.
Let’s take a look at the most popular YouTube videos of 2021….
2021’s most viewed YouTube video revealed
Mr Beast, a well-known American social media personality, posted the most-watched YouTube video of 2021.
I Spent 50 Hours Buried Alive’ is the name of the post that appeared on March 27th of this year.
The Kansan-born YouTuber, as the title says, buried himself underground to see what it’s like to be buried alive.
For 50 hours, or just over two days, he lay in a coffin covered in ground, relying on a camera, water, and a walkie-talkie to communicate with his companions on high alert.
With 151,135,487 views as of this writing on December 8, the video continues to grow in popularity every day.
