The Nigerian mother who lost her three children in an accident on New Year Day in Canada, made a solemn promise as she buried them.
Uche Osagie, who fled Nigeria 8 years ago with her kids, was travelling back from Toronto to Sudbury on January 1, 2020, when the crash happened on Highway 17 near Lively. Her three children, Destiny, Flourish and Britney all died as a result.
The Osagie family lived in a shelter in Toronto before coming to Sudbury this past October.
On Dec. 18, Osagie received a letter that her second appeal for permanent residency was denied, meaning she had to travel to Toronto to get a lawyer to file a federal appeal.
The family and two others were travelling home when the crash happened.
It is a devastating and unimaginable loss, but she has now made a touching solemn promise to her late kids.
Uche Osagie apologized to her late kids “for everything” and promised to win souls for Christ all over the world in memory of the kids.
