Originally from Severna Park, Maryland, Sharon Stow married one of the world’s most well-known journalists, Abilio James Acosta, on December 26, 1970. Known as Jim Acosta, he first rose to prominence as CNN’s national political correspondent, but he is perhaps best known as the most prominent journalist working for CNN, serving as the principal White House correspondent, well-known for his disagreements with the current US president, Donald Trump.
Early Life and Education:
Sharon’s parents, Joy Johnson and W. Kent Stow, were devout Christians from Maryland, the United States. Along with Sharon, they had a son named Steven and a daughter named Michelle Marie Stow Vance. Sharon’s early life and schooling are largely unknown, save for the fact that she had a lifelong interest in medicine and aspired to work in the medical field, which led her to enroll in the local medical high school. After high school, she enrolled in James Madison University in Virginia, the United States, where she plans to pursue a degree in nursing. Her future husband Acosta studied mass communication there as well, which is how they met. They were dating for several years before they graduated from college in 1993.
Career:
Sharon’s career is also shrouded in mystery, but it is known that she worked tirelessly to obtain the highly sought-after medical license on September 14th, 2015; she is well-known for her dedication, hard work, and attention to detail in her work, which has led to her great success and the numerous high-profile job offers she’s received as a result. This was always her childhood desire, and she is now working as a registered nurse in one of the state’s most well-known medical facilities, which is noted for its high standards.
Sharon’s personal life, husband, divorce, children:
The couple dated for several years before getting married in a private ceremony at Wye of Carmichel United Methodist Church in Queenstown, Maryland, a year after they graduated from college. It is believed that only close family and friends were invited to the service, and they then went on honeymoon to the Greek Islands. They were married, bought a house in Maryland for $660,000, and lived happily ever after for a few years before wanting to start a family. Their first kid was a daughter named Hartley, followed a few years later by a son named Peter, and finally by a third child, again a daughter, whose name has yet to be revealed.
The pair was married for 24 years and appeared to have a happy relationship with no allegations of infidelity or break-ups. However, the pair split up in 2017 — according to press reports, they divorced in July of that year after separating in January of that year and filed in Maryland’s Charles County District Court. Both their friends and the general public were shocked by this news; no specific cause has been given for their split. Jim, it’s been reported, has moved on to new relationships and has been seen with a variety of women. Sharon, on the other hand, continues to keep a low profile after the divorce.
