Nigerian author, Reno Omokri has made a post indicating it is not always that hard work is good and profitable.
The former Nigerian presidential aide made this known in a recent post he made on his verified social media handle on Twitter.
According to him, hard work is not necessarily good, and to buttress his point, he used the fact that criminals are sentenced to prison with hard labour as an example.
The post he made reads;
“The idea that hard work is always good and profitable is a deception. Hard work is not necessarily good. Why do you think criminals are sentenced to prison with hard labour? Because hard work without hard profit is punishment. Work smart, not hard”
The post he made got some reactions and some of these reactions are;
@KayodeAboluje – Work smart hardly
@obiemma68623809 – work hard in working smart..
@Germanrovic – This Reno with so much sense
@akunesiobike12 – It’s only in Nigeria or should I say Africa, criminals are sentenced with hard labor. You don’t see such bs in advanced countries. Having said that, I do understand your point, and I totally agree with it.
