There have been several reactions from the public concerning the current issue and the release of the CCTV footage of Yoruba star, Baba Ijesha.
It would be recalled that Baba Ijesha was accused of sexually harassing a 7-year old girl now 14 years of age in their house. In the early hours of Sunday, popular Nigerian daily newspaper Punch NG released the CCTV footage of Baba Ijesha and the victim.
The release of the video has caused massive reactions on social media and has caused a stir. Some popular celebrities like Uche Jombo, Teni, Simi, Tach, and many top stars have reacted to the released video of Baba Ijesha.
After the release of the video, Teni has called for the non-release of Baba Ijesha for his crime. Simi also took to her Instagram page to describe the video as disgusting and also urged people to stop sharing because it is not worth sharing.
Reality star Tasha has also taken to her page to slam the media house that shared the video. According to her, the video shouldn’t have gone out. Uche also supported Tasha by asking why such a video should be posted on a Sunday morning. According to her, the one who shared the video is making profits out of the video.
“Why just why On a Sunday? Who told who to post that video? Are we not supposed to be protecting our girls? Why is that stupid Baba ijesha video on youtube, IG, FB, and Twitter? Someone is profiting off this girl’s abuse” she wrote.
