‘When I Am On Top Of My Wife And Remember The Insecurity In Benue State, I Go Flat’- Ortom Jabs Buhari

Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has disclosed that he has been pained by the displacement of the people of Benue State as a result of the insecurity situation.

According to him, he has been suffering erectile dysfunction whenever he gets in the mood with his wife because his mind is filled with how he can solve the insecurity situation.

He said: “Even when I am on top of my wife and I remember the people who are in IDP camps…” Mr Ortom said with a pause for camera effect. A male voice in the audience then helped him to conclude his sentence, saying “It goes flat,” to which the governor then responded with a smile.

Meanwhile, Ortom recently revealed the reason why he needs to challenge the Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Senator George Akume in court saying certain things about him.

The bone of contention between Governor Ortom and Senator Akume, started when the latter granted a press conference in Abuja, and told the Federal Government to declare a state of emergency in Benue following Governor Ortom’s outcry on incessant killings in the state.

Governor Ortom did not seem pleased with the remark of Akume as he has revealed that he is challenging him in court.

he said: “What pains me is that this is a human being who was elected as Governor of Benue State two times, elected as senator representing the good people of Zone B three times.

“No time has Akume visited an IDP camp in Benue. As a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Akume has not for once condemned the killings”.
