Forsyth is 40 years old and attended Winchester College which is in Hampshire and Jesus College in Cambridge.
James is Allegra Stratton’s husband, he has a weekly column on The Times and has previously written for The Sun and the Mail.
The couple tied the knot in 2011, and share two children together called Vaughn, 8, and Xanthe, 5.
Chancellor Rishi Sunak and his wife are godparents to their children, and Rishi was also the best man at their wedding. The pair became friends after meeting at Winchester College.
Allegra Stratton career
Allegra Stratton, 41, is a former journalist and Boris Johnson’s former press secretary.
Stratton held many roles throughout her extensive career. She has worked at The Times, The Independent, New Statesman, ITV, The Guardian, and the BBC.
In April 2020, Stratton left ITV News and became Director of Strategic Communications at the Treasury. She was then promoted six months later to become the Downing Street press secretary. Effectively, the role of the press secretary involves acting as the middleman between journalists and the government.

The footage which has led to Stratton’s resignation was retrieved by ITV News. The video shows Allegra Stratton at a press conference on December 22nd, 2020, answering mock questions. She is then asked about a Christmas party and judging by her reaction, many people seem to think that No.10 actually held one.
The party supposedly happened only days before the country went into a Tier 4 lockdown, putting a hold on Christmas celebrations for millions.
