The Nigerian artist and songwriter Wizkid has pulled out of a concert he was booked alongside his colleague-enemy Davido and other international artists.
The management of NPR Music took to their Twitter page to announce the backing out of the artist from the virtual concert due to the COVID-19 restriction guard lines.
Tiny Desk, an international platform booked Wizkid, Davido, and other international artists to have a virtual concert. The concert is centered on celebrating the month of ‘Black History’ and artists were expected to perform in their comfort zones. However, Wizkid who doesn’t have access to his band due to his current location has opted out of the concert.
